Tom Quinly
President

Tom holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Utah State University and an MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX.  His 25-year high technology career has spanned defense, aerospace, and commercial sectors.  Prior to joining Dy 4 Systems in 1997, Mr. Quinly had a broad base of operations, program and financial leadership experience with leading defense electronics companies such as Lockheed-Martin and Allied Signal Aerospace and at Advanced Technology Laboratories, a premier medical electronics manufacturer.  During his Dy4 tenure he held Operations, Finance, and General Management roles prior to assuming the President role in 2001.  Subsequent to Dy4 Systems acquisition by Curtiss Wright in 2004, Tom assumed the leadership role of their Embedded Computing Group consisting of Vista Controls, Lau Defense Systems, Systran, Primagraphics, Dy4 Systems, Peritek and Synergy Microsystems.


Ron Espinosa
VP, Business Development

Ron holds an AS in Electronics from Devry (RETS) in Nutley, NJ.  He has 24 years of experience in Product Management, Field Service Support, and Direct & Channel Sales Management with leading technology companies (Sony, United Technologies).  Ron has been focused on servicing the Military Embedded Computing market since 1986.


 


Lynn Patterson
VP/GM Modular Solutions

Lynn holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State and an M.S.E.E. from George Mason University.  Lynn joined Ixthos, a Leesburg based DSP focused business in 1991, which was subsequently acquired by Dy 4 in 1997.  While at Dy 4, she has held increasingly responsible design and management positions for the development, marketing, sales, production and support.  Prior to that, she had a successful career with Avtec Systems and Westinghouse.




Tim Tschirhart
Group Controller

Tim holds a B.B.A. in Accountancy from Western Michigan University and an M.S.F. from Bentley College.  He is a CPA and spent several years at Coopers & Lybrand before joining the defense industry in 1983 working for TASC until 1998 as Director of Internal Audit and lastly as Divisional Controller for their $450M operation based in Chantilly, VA.  He held the position of CFO at ACS Defense, Inc. prior to joining Curtiss-Wright in October 2001.




John Wemekamp
VP Strategic Planning/CTO

John holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.  During his 22-year tenure at Dy 4, John filled a variety of increasingly responsible roles beginning as Hardware Design Engineer and various management roles through to his current role as Vice President, Strategic Planning and CTO.  Prior to joining Dy 4, John successfully led a team at Bell Northern Research in the development of telecommunications product.




David Dietz
VP/GM, Santa Clarita Operations

David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law.  He is a licensed attorney with work experience as a design engineer and in a legal capacity with both law firms and commercial organizations.  David's experience includes increasing leadership responsibility in areas of engineering, operations, legal, IT, business development, and executive management with companies including Fisons Instruments and Gruber Systems.  He held the role of Vice-President Engineering with Vista Controls prior to his current leadership position. 


Alan McCormick
Managing Director, Cambridge Operations

Alan holds a MEng and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has 20 years experience in the defence and aerospace industry.  He started his career as an antenna designer and progressed to holding key engineering and general management positions in Siemens, BAE Systems and Raytheon. He joined Curtiss-Wright in June 2007, and currently serves as Managing Director of Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing, UK operations.


Gorky Chin
VP/GM, Dayton Operations

Gorky began his career as part of the engineering technical staff at Hughes Helicopter and McDonnell Douglas avionics division. Following his employment at McDonnell Douglas Gorky became a co-founder and integral leader of the Vista Controls company that was acquired by Curtiss Wright in November, 2001. Gorky had served as Vice President of Advanced Technologies for Vista Controls leading up to this new assignment as General Manager of the Dayton Business Unit, formerly Systran Corporation. Gorky earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.


Mark Baker
VP/GM, Littleton Operations

 
Mark holds a B.S. in Electronic Technology from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, and an MBA from Seton Hall University, S. Orange, NJ.  He joined Curtiss-Wright in 2006 as the Vice President & General Manager of the Littleton, Massachusetts Electronic Manufacturing Services division.  Prior to that, he had a successful career with CTS Electronic Manufacturing Solutions as General Manager overseeing two of their New England operations, and with Solectron, where he had held increasingly responsible positions in manufacturing operations and M&A integration management.
