VXS-ENC-0015

The VXS-ENC-0015 10U rack mount chassis comes in a 10U height and supports a 20-slot VXS Dual Star backplane. The VXS-ENC-0015 is equipped with 18 VXS payload slots and 2 VXS switch slots. The chassis complies to the IEEE 1101.10/.11 specifications with vertical mounting for 6U x 160mm cards from the front and 6U x 80mm I/O cards from the rear to support Rear Transition Modules (RTMs).

The VXS-ENC-0015 has a fixed 1200W power supply and offers 75W per slot front to rear airflow cooling. This chassis supports one or two additional power supplies; they can be integrated in the chassis by the factory or added by the customer. EMC compliance was addressed in the design of the VXS-ENC-0015 to enable it to meet the strict requirements of CE and FCC. Customers can use the VXS-ENC-0015 for their own system integration or we can integrate processing and recording boards into the VXS-ENC-0015 for a sub-system ready for application development.
