The V1020 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) XMC/PMC module provides high performance line rate packet processing in conjunction with application flexibility. It supports PCI Express® and PCI-XTM host interfaces. Functioning as a high speed data pipe, the V1020 is available pre-configured for processor protocol offload (V1020 udpXGTM) or direct data streaming to an I/O device such as an ADC or DAC module (V1020 streamXGTM). The V1020 can also be used for custom 10GbE packet processing and connectivity applications. Processing Flexibility The V1020 processor architecture provides a flexible high performance platform for implementing advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 packet processing solutions. 10Gb packet processing at line speed is realized using the Xilinx® VirtexTM-II Pro FPGA.
Customization V1020 modules can be customized to include functions such as aggregation, deep packet inspection, packet filtering and up/down conversion.
