The Intel core duo development system enables developers to start their software development while they are waiting for their conduction cooled Intel base single board computers or systems, and as a low cost development platform. The development system has been designed to allow for maximum flexibility and configurability so it can match your final system.
The development system is based around the SCP-1201, which is a 3U cPCI board with a single core duo processor supporting a 32 bit, 66 MHz cPCI backplane, which occupies two slots with a PAE4 Type 1 Video PMC. Production versions of the 1201 are available in a one slot version with PMC support, in both air-cooled and conduction-cooled configurations. The system has 3 empty PICMG 2.3 compliant cPCI slots which can be populated with 3U cPCI boards or carriers for PMC or IPack modules.
