Curtiss-Wright's Power Accessory Distribution System (PADS) is used to provide a Military Vehicle occupant with the ability to have a plug in solution to providing accessory power from the vehicle 28 Vdc power source while in the vehicle cab.
Soldiers can plug in 110 volt 12 volt and 5 volt common plug items into the PADS without compromising the vehicle equipment. The design configuration can be customized for the installation (cable, chassis and mounting) to meet the specific vehicle needs of the end user.
Most current military vehicles do not have power plugs available for 110V, 12 v and 5 volt, however, many soldiers have equipment which require these voltage sources in order to operate reliably. PADS provides a ready to use, rugged, drop in solution that matches the militarized design of the vehicle.
