PMC-E2000 PMC

The PMC-E2000 is a single width PMC module compatible with PCI Revision 2.1 that comprises 8 simultaneously sampling analog inputs and four simultaneous analog outputs, all of which deliver 16-bit resolution. Analog inputs can be sampled at up to 200kSPS per channel, whilst outputs are capable of 300kSPS update per channel.

The PMC-E2000 is available in 3 configurations allowing system designers to select the interface configuration that best fits their application. All versions have <10µs deterministic input and output latencies.

PMC-E2000/05 offers differential input capability and excellent DC accuracy for closed loop applications. Whilst the PMC-E2000A/05 provides single ended configuration for inputs with much faster slew rate characteristics that optimise the AC performance for shock, vibration and other frequency domain applications. PMC-E2000B/05 is also optimised for AC applications, but offers fully differential input and a nominal impedance of 50kW, matching to other impedances can be produced on request such as, 75W for video digitisation.

The on-board processor provides a message based command and control interface with excellent self-diagnostics and comprehensive Built-In-Test. The board can operate in DSP host processor systems, or alternatively act as a stand-alone embedded intelligent controller.
