In addition to running Windows XP™ the SVME-1901 runs Solaris10™ and Wind River GPP Linux 2.6™ operating systems. Support for VxWorks® for real-time applications and LynxOS® is in development. The SVME-1901 is designed for both benign and rugged air-cooled systems. It has support for a clock calendar and NVRAM from a system supplied battery backup and/or onboard capacitor. A user programmable operating frequency allows dynamic, user controlled power consumption adjustment.
The SVME-1901 supports extensive I/O on the faceplate including Video Graphics and SCSI. Optional dual video displays are supported with rear I/O configurations. The SVME-1901 is designed for embedded systems concerned with performance per watt. It also supports those users that desire the Windows XP™ operating system for legacy, driver, or development reasons.
The SVME-1901 is an ideal solution for those systems that require the Solaris10™ operating system. Onboard SCSI is provided for legacy systems that require SCSI storage solutions.
In addition the DMV-1901 provides similar features in a conduction cooled form factor.
