Radar Scan Converter
The Advantage Xi radar scan converter, a member of the Metro family, is a half-size PCI card. Radar video arrives into the card through the PCI bus, which allows the card to be used in a client-server configuration with radar distributed over a network, or in conjunction with a radar interface card such as the Virgo PCI.
Advantage Xi accepts digital video (DVI) from a graphics card. The radar picture is combined with the graphics using a sophisticated digital keying technique, which allows graphics to be displayed as an overlay to the radar video or as an underlay that is semi transparently mixed with the radar. The Advantage Xi outputs both analogue RGB and digital DVI-D video at programmable screen resolutions up to 1600 x 1280. | |
