Lifecycle Support
Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing strives to offer product families during a five to seven year period. During that time, products undergo continuous improvement with software revisions, reliability enhancements, and components upgrades. We offer a suite of services that enhances the standard product offerings.
Our services programs minimize your total cost of ownership with support during your development phase, reduced risk of obsolescence, and extended availability programs.
During a product's life we take steps to combat obsolescence with a view to meeting a target year for final production and repairs. We can share this information with customers such that they can influence how their design overcomes obsolescence. This information can be used to establish customer-owned inventories to extend the final build and/or repair dates.
When we do find it necessary to discontinue manufacture of products for other customers, those with an inventory of parts and a Longevity of Supply services can continue to order their cards - we will maintain tools, test equipment, and expertise to support builds of the Longevity customer's products. Likewise, a parts inventory and a Longevity of Repair service ensures continued repairs of select products.
